LOCAL business Inhouse Group, owned by Secret Harbour resident Clinton House, is in the running to win the 2011 Mitsubishi Corporation ‘WA Innovator of the Year’ Award after being named finalist for two of its smart phone applications.
Its ‘Chirp Deals’ application reached the top 5 in iTunes ‘What’s Hot’ for lifestyle apps within two months of its launch in June this year.
It has been recognised for its innovative approach to supporting local business and providing consumers with great deals in the palm of their hand.
The ‘Insights’ app is a world first technology providing unprecedented levels of information on consumer behaviour within retail spaces through its ability to monitor anonymous, but unique data from mobile phones.
It provides retailers with live information on the visitation of pedestrians, including length of time spent, and loyalty to a retail space.
The Inhouse Group’s Jesse Hill, Jared King and Managing Director Clinton House pitched their products to an expert judging panel for the Department of Commerce at Technology Park Function Centre in Bentley.
“Our experience shows that solution-driven, innovative thinking, produces the strongest and most rewarding client relationships,” Mr House said.
Winners of each category will receive $50,000 cash and in-kind support for their product including services such as legal, strategy and public relations while the overall winner will receive $100,000 cash and in-kind support.
The winners will be announced at a luncheon at Burswood Entertainment Complex on November 3.
