THE owner of a new mobile coffee business in Midland says he has been overwhelmed by the support from local shop owners.

Beechboro resident Steve McLoughlin set up Cremoso Coffee at the Clayton Street shopping complex last month .

“I have a couple of friends at the police traffic headquarters and they said they liked a coffee, but there hadn’t been a food service around here for some time,” he said.

“Now that there is Harvey Norman out there, there is nothing (food services) around.

“It is a bit overwhelming with the public response – every second person has said that this is what the area |needed.

“The managers of the nearby stores have also been very supportive.”

Mr McLoughlin runs the coffee and snack business from 7am to 2pm daily.
