MAZDA is delivering a windfall to new car buyers that will potentially save them many thousands of dollars.
The company is offering a price reduction of between $1750 and $3920, depending on the model, on its Mazda6 range, making the cars even greater value than before.
The new Mazda6 range now kicks off at $27,990 for the Limited sedan, making it $1750 better value.
At the top of the range, the Mazda6 Luxury Sports hatch is now priced at $42,990 with Activematic transmission, delivering a $3920 windfall to new car consumers.
Mazda managing director Doug Dickson said the decision to offer the price cuts was about maintaining the Mazda promise to car buyers.
“We are committed to offering Australians the most stylish, insightful and spirited vehicles we can at the best possible value we can,” he said.
“The original Mazda6 revived the moribund medium car market in 2002, and we want to maintain our leadership position with the new Mazda6.”
Mr Dickson said that existing owners of the second-generation Maz- da6 would also stand to benefit.
“We will reward existing owners for their loyalty with a goodwill package consisting of free scheduled maintenance, or free scheduled maintenance and an extended warranty.”
